An Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) is an Order made by a court against a person
A person must keep distance himself or herself from defendant for safety and security of defendant as ordered by court.
All AVOs made by the court bans the person from assaulting, harassing, threatening, stalking or intimidating defendant or victim.
